(This was around 1983 in what might have been Quincy MA.)

As I walked down an aisle, there on a shelf was a toy box with Dracula on it!

A haunted castle playset!

With monsters in it!!

Including the Creature from the Black Lagoon!!!

As of writing, Mail on the iPhone can’t open files in the .rtf format.
I recieved an attachment in a message that I needed to open.
I’ve opened .pdf’s & .doc’s in Mail and it worked seamlessly.

I assumed .rtf’s would be opened as well.

No .rtf love here

WRONG. Apple’s support is this:

c, .cpp, .diff, .doc, .docx, .h, .hpp, .htm, .html, .m, .mm, .patch, .pdf, .txt, .xls, .xlsx.

Hmm, how bizarre.

So why would .rtf not be an allowed filetype on an iPhone?
Apple’s own app TextEdit defaults to saving as an .RTF?
WTF. Why Steve Jobs, why?

So the “hack” is this:

SEND IT TO YOUR GMAIL.

That’s it, basically.

Open Safari, go to gmail.com, login to your account, view in “Desktop”, and open the email, and view the attachment as html.

That’s a bit of a kludge, but it works.

Airwolf Season 4? What’s that all about? I saw an episode & thought I was dreaming.

Almagamated mirror world tv show on laughing gas.

Not the Jan Michael Vincent & Ernest Borgnine jaunt in a weaponized whirlybird I was accustomed to!

Airwolf SE4 was broadcast on the USA Network, budget slashed, had the entire cast replaced, they filmed in Canada, & reused the flight scenes from earlier seasons! The chopper was a fake too!

Quite possibly the worst quality flick that they have ever riffed, EVER!

Worse than Manos. On all levels: the sound was a bad dub of a dub, going through two translations.

Saboteur was an early influence on me.

It was another cheap game found at Zayre’s,  they were my C-64 hookup in the late 80′s.

It’s one of the few games from that time I actually completed.

Okay, I think I’m late to the party.
Looks like the human side is destroying the cyborgs by 2:1.
This sort of thing happens in free mmos, like Urban Dead.

Balance among sides is rare… No, really rare. Hopefully it’s not just a mass of zergs, hopefully it’s just that iPhone players just selected the human side without even thinking. Then it’s just the fact that HUMAN was on the left side of the GUI and western players read it left to right and clicked on it.

Or is it that we always want to play the “good guys”?

As for the game, it’s a gps based “Very fancy” Battleship.( Which is basically marco polo (which is basically “Hide and Seek”) ).

And the leading players scores are off the charts. I don’t have a chance at this point. The game opened last November.

Also, no one wins any prizes, not even a dvd box set of the first season.
